Natural gas transfer station Oberhausener Straße

Project description:
A new natural gas transfer station has been built on the Obenhausener Straße to ensure the gas supply for the coverage area of the Stadtwerke Ratingen GmbH.

Service description:
The “Oberhausener Straße” station is two-track with redundant design, each track consisting of the following main components:

  • 1 x cartridge filter DN 80 DP 100
  • 1 x turbine wheel meterTRZ 03 DN 80 DP 100
  • 1 x natural gas pre-heater DN 80 DP 100
  • 2 x safety shut-off valves RMG 711 DN 50 DP 100
  • 1 x gas pressure control unit RMG 503 DN 50/100 DP 100

The input pressure of 40-100 bar is reduced here to 8 bar and fed into the local grid. The warming of the heating medium is provided by two Buderus Logano boilers, each with a performance of 130 kW. For nearby gas consumers, a dual-track control and measuring section is installed in the building, which lowers the pressure again to 4 bar.

Design data of the “Oberhausener Straße” station:

Input pressure OPu: 40 – 100 bar
Output pressure OPd: Pa1 = 8 bar Pa2 = 3,5 bar

Total capacity Qn: 5.500 m³/h

Design pressure OPu: MOP 100 (DP 100)
Design pressure OPd: MOP 10 (DP 10)
