Offshore service

A maintenance, servicing, repair and care concept for all components. In offshore wind farms, wind power systems and the associated system components, such as the internal power grid, transformer station and platform have to be maintained and serviced on a regular basis.

The availability of turbines and all other components of offshore wind power systems must be ensured at the current level of approx. 97%. A fault in an offshore transformer station leads to a loss of earnings of the entire wind farm. It is therefore in the interests of the wind farm operator to reduce downtime and the resulting enormous financial losses to a minimum.

Services:
In recent years the trend has moved much more strongly to “all-inclusive service”. Clients want a contact partner who can meet not only the primary performance requirements, but is also available for less important but still necessary works. Together with its parent company SAG, Bohlen & Doyen has recognized this trend and established the service area of “Service for Offshore Wind Farms” in the company.

Our strength:
Bohlen & Doyen offers a wide range of services in this area, in close cooperation with the parent company SAG. The service package and know-how of both companies already includes most of the tasks for the technical operation and management of the offshore sub-stations and their onshore connections.

The advantages for our customers:
In addition to the actual service, a further service is also available in the form of facility management with the maintenance, cleaning and care of the visible parts of wind power systems. Together with SAG, we also have the corresponding professionalism and quality in this area in the provision of services in the field of wind power systems and their components.
