Gas pressure control and measuring stations sometimes have to be taken out of service temporarily in everyday practice, for example during conversion and dismantling. On the other hand, you often need a functional control and measuring system for network extensions or the connection of new customers, before the station is finally ready.

For these cases, badenova AG & Co. KG has had two mobile GPC systems constructed. These are used when:

• the gas supply has to be maintained during construction work,
• the time must be bridged to the completion of a new GPC system,
• temporarily replacement is needed following the failure of a regulator station.

Service description:

Layout of the system:

• Aluminium box trailer as tandem trailer with a large door at the back.
• Input and output flange of the system at left front and right rear accessible through openings, sealed off by flaps when on the move.
• Ventilation and evacuation as diagonal ventilation at the sides.
• Breathing and blow out lines in accordance with regulations, removable for transport and hung up in the system.
• System fully accessible, upright standing possible, spacings according to DVGW regulations.
• Floor completely of non-slip tread plate, earthed.
• Earth connection as cross-earth, 1.5 m long for connection to potential equalisation rails connection point.
• Front axle with support wheel, two additional, retractable supports each at front and rear.
• Exterior painting to RAL
• TÜV acceptance of trailer

The mobile system is designed with two-rail redundancy. The connection to the gas pipes is made by means of flexible hoses and moulded fittings with insulating coupling.
